Britain's Elizabeth tests positive for Covid
Queen Elizabeth of England tests positive for the coronavirus, and is reportedly experiencing mild symptoms.
Buckingham Palace has reported that the Queen of England has tested positive for Covid.
Queen Elizabeth is currently experiencing "mild cold-like symptoms" according to the palace, but is expected to continue "light duties" over the next week.
The 95-year-old Queen had been in contact with her eldest son, the Prine of Wales, who also tested positive last week. A number of other people have also tested positive at the Queen's residence at Windsor Castle.
The UK's longest reigning monarch reached her Platinum Jubilee of 70 years on February 6. She had her first vaccine in January 2021, and received follow-up shots since then.
