Prince Andrew to testify to Giuffre's lawyers in sex crime scandal
The royal figure has to go to court at some point.
Virginia Giuffre, a victim who has filed a piping-hot lawsuit against sex predator Prince Andrew, will have her lawyers meeting the Prince in March, where he will testify under oath, according to a source close to the latter.
Prince Andrew is facing a US civil case for sexual assault, despite trying to avoid it, as he embarrasses the royal family, including his 95-year-old mother, the Queen.
"We agreed to voluntarily produce the Duke for a deposition on March 10," a source close to the Duke said, meaning that Andrew will be giving sworn testimony in response to questions by Giuffre's lawyers.

Giuffre has not yet given a date or location for her disposition, according to the source.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the meeting will take place in a "neutral" location in London and the Prince is being prepared by his UK-based legal team as he is going to face questioning by Giuffre's attorneys, David Boies and Sigrid McCawley.
The lawyers will also be questioning the witnesses based in Britain. One of them is Shukri Walker, who's witnessed the prince at a London nightclub with a young girl around the time of the assault. The second is Robert Olney, who used to be the Prince's personal assistant.
Giuffre claims that she had sex with and got assaulted by Prince Andrew at the age of 17 and that she was trafficked by now-dead sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein as he awaited trial for his crimes.
Her argument is that Andrew sexually assaulted her in Ghislaine Maxwell's home in London, in March 2001. Maxwell was Epstein's partner, who is now jailed in the US for recruiting young girls for Epstein to sexually abuse.
Recently, Prince Andrew has shut down his social media accounts, and he has been stripped of his honorary military titles and positions.
Giuffre's lawyer Boies told AFP in late January, "We look forward to confronting Prince Andrew with his denials and attempts to blame Ms. Giuffre for her own abuse at his deposition and trial."
