'Israel', US failed to bring Hamas to its knees: Sayyed Khamenei
Sayyed Ali Khamenei posted a video highlighting the capabilities of various Resistance factions, affirming the growing strength of the Axis of Resistance, as Netanyahu spoke in Congress.
As the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed United States lawmakers and officials in Congress on Wednesday, the leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, underlined the strength of the Axis of Resistance.
Sayyed Khamenei took the opportunity to shed light on the Palestinian Resistance's, specifically Hamas', ability to counter the US-backed Israeli war on Gaza.
"A huge system in all military, political, and economic dimensions like the USA stands behind the Zionists in fighting against Hamas, but they were unable to bring it to its knees," he highlighted in a post on X, which he wrote in Hebrew.
The Iranian leader accompanied the post with a video containing footage of fighters and operations from different factions in the Axis of Resistance, including Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's al-Quds Brigades, Lebanon's Hezbollah, and the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF).
The YAF's long-range suicide drone, Yafa, which was used to strike Tel Aviv, was also heavily featured in the footage shared by Sayyed Khamenei.

Netanyahu says Iran's 'axis of terror' threatens 'Israel'
On the other hand, Netanyahu resorted to deliberately spreading and fabricating lies to deceive public opinion about what is happening in the Gaza Strip, not to mention his attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, amid several rounds of applause by members of the House of Representatives and the Senate.
He told lawmakers that "Israel", the US, and the Arab world are threatened by what he called Iran's "axis of terror," in reference to the Axis of Resistance coming together in support of Gaza and the Palestinian Resistance and dealing one mighty blow to the occupation after the other.
"Our world is in upheaval. In the Middle East, Iran's axis of terror confronts America, Israel, and our Arab friends. This is not a clash of civilizations. It's a clash between barbarism and civilization," Netanyahu said, blatantly proving and bringing back the "us versus them" ideology that the West uses in every war it conducts.
He then stated that "Israel" will do "whatever it must" to secure its northern border against the Lebanese Resistance.
"Let me be clear: Israel will do whatever it must do to restore security to our northern border and return our people safely to their homes," Netanyahu said, while hundreds of settlers in northern occupied Palestine who were forced out of the region under Hezbollah's fire are calling him a traitor for leaving them behind.
When speaking of Yemen, following the Yemeni Armed Forces' strike on Tel Aviv last week, Netanyahu with full confidence said, “Those who attack Israel will pay a very heavy price,” and added, "When we’re fighting the Houthis, we’re fighting Iran," playing the Iranian card once again in an attempt to downplay the effect of the operation that shook the Israeli entity to its core.
