In a recent development, Israeli occupation forces reportedly entered the premises of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, opening fire in its medical departments and urging the injured to evacuate. Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the Gaza Strip highlighted the pressure on injured individuals to evacuate the area.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza also verified that Israeli forces targeted the orthopedic department within the premises of Nasser Medical Complex, resulting in the death of one of the injured and injuries sustained by several patients.

The Israeli occupation then forced people to evacuate the complex, at gunpoint, knowing there was nowhere for the people sheltering there to go, only to hold them at a checkpoint as they tried to evacuate.

Moreover, the ministry reported an incident of damage to an oxygen tube in the Nasser Complex, leading to oxygen leakage.

The ministry added that the mentioned leakage resulted in a decrease in oxygen pressure in the medical complex, especially in the intensive care unit, endangering patients due to the Israeli targeting of the complex.

IOF executes bound Palestinian man

Earlier, on Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces executed a Palestinian young man in Khan Younis after compelling him to wear white attire resembling "coronavirus" protective clothing.

In detail, the occupation soldiers bound the young man's hands, placed a yellow sign on his head, and subsequently sent him to the hospital to inform those present there that they must evacuate the premises, all the while his hands were bound. Later, he returned to the occupation soldiers only to be executed. Palestinians later managed to retrieve his body, following which it was buried inside the complex.

The Nasser Medical Complex has been under a strict Israeli blockade. It has faced repeated attacks since the beginning of February, as part of the Israeli occupation's attempt to disable it, as part of its systematic targeting of the healthcare system in the Gaza Strip.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Ashraf Al-Qudra, reported on February 10 that Israeli forces fired intensively toward the gates, buildings, and courtyards of Nasser Medical Complex.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that the number of martyred Palestinians has risen to 28,576, with 68,291 wounded since October 7.

In the preceding 24 hours, the Israeli occupation forces committed 11 massacres against families in Gaza martyring 103 Palestinians and injuring 145 others.

The ministry added that other victims are still under the rubble, as the IOF are deliberately preventing ambulances and civil defense crews from reaching them.
