Hezbollah: From this perspective, we address current developments, reaffirming to all that this is the time to unify efforts to halt the Zionist violations, aggression, and escalation against our country
Hezbollah: Legitimate defense does not fall under framework of “decisions of war or peace”; rather, it is exercise of our right to resist an enemy that imposes war upon our land, refuses to cease its assaults, seeking to subdue our state.
Hezbollah: As a founding component of Lebanon, the nation we are committed to as a final homeland for all its children, we reaffirm our legitimate right to resist occupation and aggression.
Hezbollah: Negotiations [with "Israel"] carry no national interest and pose existential risks to Lebanon’s sovereignty and entity.
Hezbollah: Lebanon must not, under any circumstances, yield to aggressive blackmail or be lured into political negotiations with the Zionist enemy.
Hezbollah: With this savage enemy, backed by the American tyrant, there can be no room for maneuver or deceit.

The Israeli occupation entity, with the support of the "criminal" US government, planned and carried out the "terrorist" operation of assassinating Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas' political bureau, stated Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) on Saturday.

The operation was carried out by launching a short-range, 7kg-warhead projectile from outside the perimeter of the guests’ residence, the IRGC indicated in its third statement regarding the assassination of Haniyeh and his security guard in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

Elsewhere, the IRGC made it clear that avenging the blood of the Palestinian leader is inevitable, underlining that "the terrorist Zionist entity will be severely punished for this reckless and terrorist crime at the appropriate time, place, and manner."

The latest announcement contradicts Westen media allegations, especially by The New York Times, which reported that Haniyeh's assassination was carried out using an explosive device planted in advance in his bedroom and detonated remotely by Mossad operatives on Iranian soil.

In a related content, an informed source denied to the Iranian Tasnim Agency the entirety of The New York Times report about the assassination. The NYT reported on Saturday that "Iran has arrested more than two dozen people, including senior intelligence officers, military officials and staff workers at a military-run guesthouse in Tehran," following Haniyeh's assassination, citing two Iranians familiar with the investigation.

On July 31, the IRGC announced the martyrdom of Haniyeh, who was on a visit to Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iran's new President Masoud Pezeshkian.

It vowed that the Resistance Axis will make "Israel" pay a heavy price for its "criminal and cowardly" assassination.

"The heinous crime committed by the Zionist regime in killing Ismail Haniyeh... will undoubtedly be met with a harsh and painful response from the powerful Resistance Front," the IRGC indicated in a statement.

The IRGC pointed out that the Israeli crimes, which defy international law, are attempts to conceal their failure after nine months of war on Gaza.
