'Israel' kills 31 Palestinians in indiscriminate Gaza bombing
The Israeli occupation forces launched widescale aggression on civilian areas and refugee centers, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.
The Israeli occupation forces committed yet another massacre on Tuesday, murdering 17 Palestinians and wounding 26 others in Mawasi Khan Younis in southern Gaza, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported.
Palestinian media, moreover, reported that the Israeli occupation forces drone struck a vehicle in an area densely-packed with refugees in Mawasi Khan Younis, killing 17 people, the majority of which were women and children, with numerous others sustaining varying injuries.
Several casualties arrived at the Nasser Medical Center following the massacre committed by the IOF west of Khan Younis.
The IOF also killed at least 14 people and wounded dozens of others after launching an airstrike on an UNRWA school housing refugees in the Nuseirat Refugee Camp. The al-Awda Hospital received martyrs and 48 wounded from the massacre.
This follows a similar event, wherein the Israeli occupation forces committed a massacre targeting the UNRWA-operated Abu Areiban school in Nuseirat camp, central Gaza Strip.
Fifteen people were killed in the massacre, and 80 others were injured, according to the government media office in Gaza. The office noted that this massacre followed a pattern of targeting shelters housing thousands of forcibly displaced people.
Children and women accounted for more than 70% of the victims of the massacre, with the bodies and remains of the martyrs scattered across the site.
Health sector in the crosshairs
The media office added that the renewed Israeli massacres aim to deliberately collapse the health sector across the Strip, destroying and burning hospitals and putting them out of service. This occurs amid immense pressure on medical staff and the remaining surgical operation rooms, with a severe shortage of medical supplies.
Additionally, the massacres happen while the crossings are closed preventing the travel of the wounded and sick, while also blocking fuel from entering, creating catastrophic humanitarian conditions caused by the ongoing aggression for nearly 10 months, the office noted.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation's airstrikes continued to target the homes of Gaza residents, paralleling ongoing rescue and relief efforts hindered by continuous and intense bombardment and accumulated debris in the streets.
The occupation targeted the home of the Youssef family in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City. In the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, south of the city, civil defense teams retrieved the bodies of two martyrs after the occupation targeted the home of the Halawa family.
Additionally, decomposed bodies were recovered in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, the industrial area, and the Financial Square in western Gaza City, while wounded individuals and the bodies of martyrs were retrieved after several homes were targeted in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.
The massacre at the Abu Areiban school in Nuseirat adds to the two massacres committed by the occupation on Saturday in al-Mawasi in Khan Younis against civilians and displaced people in tents, where about 390 people were killed and injured, and in the Shati camp, where 22 people were killed while praying near the White Mosque.
