Israeli settlers write genocidal song lyrics and then teach it to children who call on the Israeli Occupation Forces to "annihilate" the Gaza Strip, in a move similar to the 2006 message-writing campaign on missiles sent to kill Lebanese children.

"Within a year we will annihilate everyone, and then we will return to plow our fields," Israeli children were made to sing in a video that was published by Kan News on their X account before it was deleted.

Alluding to the Gaza Strip, Israeli children in the video sang "Autumn night falls over the beach of Gaza, planes are bombing, destruction, destruction."

The despicable video of children with angelic voices calling for genocide in the Strip was written by the so-called "crisis-communication expert" Ofer Rosenbaum, who heads the Israeli public relations firm Rosenbaum Communication.

The song and video were first published by “The Civil Front,” an organization run by Ofer Rosenbaum, according to a report by the Electronic Intifada, aiming to rally the Israeli homefront in support of the war on Gaza.

The song, called "The Friendship Song 2023", was quickly deleted by "Israel's" Kan News, according to the Electronic Intifada report, because it could make the channel complicit in genocide. However, a version of the deleted video can still be found on the archive of the website.

This is not new territory for the occupation. In 2006, during the Israeli war on Lebanon, children in the Israeli-occupied settlement of Kiryat Shmona were given the "opportunity" to write "messages" to Lebanese children. These messages were written on shells that later claimed the lives of hundreds of Lebanese civilians, including children.

A famous image shows Israeli children signing artillery rounds with the legible statements "From Israel" and "with love".

UN: Level of brutality against children of Gaza highest in decades

The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child confirmed that the war on Gaza has taken the lives of over 4,600 children since October 7, with the level of brutality being the highest in recent decades.

In a statement released on World Children's Day, the committee said, "More than 4,600 children have been killed in Gaza in only five weeks. This war has claimed the lives of more children in a shorter time and with a level of brutality that we have not witnessed in recent decades."
