'Israel' massacres civilians in Nabi Sheet, Maarakeh, bombards Dahye

The Israeli occupation forces have intensified their aggression against Lebanon, launching widespread airstrikes on Beirut's Southern Suburb, Baalbek, and southern Lebanon. The attacks have resulted in massacres in the southern town of Maarakeh and Nabi Sheet in the Bekaa Valley.
In Beirut's Southern Suburb, the Israeli occupation carried out airstrikes targeting residential buildings in areas including Haret Hreik, Bir al-Abed, Mcharafieh, al-Jamous, Ghobeiry, and Tayouneh, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported.

Simultaneous airstrikes hit residential buildings near the al-Hassanein complex and Sayyed al-Shuhada complex, as the occupation threatened further strikes in these densely populated areas.

Additionally, an Israeli airstrike targeted an area near Bchamoun in Aley District, while a drone attack hit a residential complex in the al-Midan neighborhood of Choueifat.
Mass casualties in southern Lebanon
In the south, Israeli forces escalated their aerial and artillery assaults on various towns and villages. A significant airstrike on Nabatieh destroyed multiple homes, while other towns, including Hay al-Bayyad, Kfour, Doueir, Zawtar, Harouf, al-Sharqieh, and al-Nmairiyeh, suffered extensive damage.
Israeli strikes on the Zahrani area targeted Aanqoun, Kawthariyet al-Siyyad, Ansariyeh, and Babliyeh, with three people killed in an attack on al-Ghaziyeh in Saida District.

In Tyre, intense airstrikes targeted Maarakeh, killing eight people and wounding four, while a separate strike on Ain Baal left three killed and others injured. The town of Bourj Rahal witnessed the destruction of two homes and significant damage to surrounding properties.
Israeli warplanes also struck multiple southern towns, including Tayr Harfa, Bazouriyeh, Qana, Jouaya, al-Majdal, Wadi Jilou, Abbassieh, and Deir Qanoun al-Nahr. In the city of Tyre and its vicinity, three Israeli drone strikes killed 10 people and injured 17, according to Dr. Wissam Ghazal, the head of medical services in Tyre District.

Massacre in Nabi Sheet
In Nabi Sheet, a town in the Bekaa Valley, the Israeli occupation forces committed a massacre, with an Israeli airstrike killing 10 people, including four children. Rescue teams continue to search for survivors amidst the rubble. The targeted building housed residential apartments and a humanitarian aid distribution center.
Earlier, Israeli warplanes struck a building in the al-Assirah area of Baalbek and a house on the Ras al-Ain hills overlooking the city. Additional airstrikes targeted Taanayel al-Fawqa, Wadi Umm Ali in the Beit Mcheik farms, and seven other locations in northern Bekaa.
Israeli strikes on the outskirts of Tarayyah, Labweh, and Hermel left three people killed and caused widespread destruction.
Mounting death toll
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported on Sunday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression, which began last year, has risen to 3,754 martyrs, with 15,626 others wounded as of Saturday.
The Israeli bombardment of residential areas continues to exacerbate the humanitarian crisis, with many families trapped under rubble and emergency responders struggling to reach the affected areas.
