A security source told Al Mayadeen that the Lebanese Army, in coordination with the committee supervising the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, entered the buildings threatened by Israeli occupation forces. Despite this coordination, the source added, the Israeli forces ignored the process and went ahead with their assault on Beirut’s southern suburb.
The Israeli occupation issued direct threats Thursday night against multiple residential buildings in the southern suburb of Beirut, warning of imminent strikes on areas including Hadath, Haret Hreik, and Burj al-Barajneh.
According to an Al Mayadeen correspondent, the Israeli occupation forces warned of targeting five buildings across these densely populated neighborhoods.
On another note, the Israeli occupation army has targeted residential buildings in the town of Ain Qana, southern Lebanon.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported four strikes on the town until this moment.
