Israeli Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana has asked the Israeli security agency Shin Bet to investigate reports from several Knesset members who have received threatening letters from a new organization, "Israeli Revengers", informing them that one of their loved ones will be harmed as retaliation for the failures that led to the October 7 Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

An investigation released by The New York Times indicated that "Israel’s" military was "undermanned, out of position, and so poorly organized" that soldiers communicated in WhatsApp groups created on the spot and relied on social media posts for information. Troops rushed into battle thinking that the combat would be brief so they were armed as such. Helicopter pilots were ordered to look for news reports and Telegram channels to choose targets.

Prior to the operation, Israeli intelligence officials thought that it was unlikely that Hamas would execute such an ambitious attack that they minimized the radio surveillance of Hamas, deeming it "a waste of time."

Likud MK Tali Gotliv, the brother of Likud MK Moshe Saada and the mother of Otzma Yehudit MK Yitzhak Wasserlauf are among those who received the threatening letter from the "Israeli Revengers" group.

Gotliv published a photograph of the letter she said she received in the mail on Friday, writing on X that "if a left-wing person were to receive the letter that was delivered with my private mail, they would have a security guard stationed at their door."

According to social media pictures of the letters, each one has the Star of David with a fist thrusting out from the side at the top of the page, with the slogan "Jewish revengers, never forget!" written beneath.

The wording of the letters appears to differ somewhat from receiver to recipient, but all include the same underlying message: a threat to hurt a loved one in vengeance for October 7.

The letter details that the blame for the events of October 7 lies "with the coalition of October 6, of whom almost no one was harmed on a personal or familial level by this war."

Therefore, it contends, "An attack on you is a fair price for each Member of Knesset to personally pay."

The group also claims to have taken revenge against the families of the Palestinian Resistance members responsible for October 7.

The Israeli occupation has undertaken a brutal response to the operation in Gaza, displacing millions of Palestinians and killing over 29,692 and injuring 69,870 since the war began.

Earlier, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces are preventing ambulances from reaching the targeted areas, hindering their ability to recover the wounded.
