Nasrallah:"Israeli attacks on Al-Quds equate regional war"
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned of a “regional war” if “Israel” attacked holy sites in Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem), stressing that Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque are the main cause of the entire nation."
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered a speech during a ceremony celebrating the 30th anniversary of the founding of al-Manar TV. The address comes two weeks after the top leader's previous public speech, in which he vowed "regional war" if "Israel" assaulted holy sites in Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem).
Sayyed Nasrallah's health condition
Sayyed Nasrallah expressed his gratitude to everyone who showed him affection during his illness, after sources close to Nasrallah disclosed to Lebanese media last week that he was suffering from pneumonia and seasonal allergies, not COVID as had been reported.
He also refuted rumors that his health is worsening, stating he is healthy and looking forward to pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque shortly.
“I am alive and well, and I still hope and dream that we will be able to pray together at the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque,” he said.
Al Manar channel
Sayyed Nasrallah noted that Al Manar TV was founded to be a channel of resistance, and later, resistance and Liberation.
“Al-Manar TV isn't a channel that's out for profit, thrills, or competition. This channel, on the other hand, has a purpose and a message," he said.
"Netanyahu is defeated"
On the Israeli internal political crisis, Nasrallah said that “Netanyahu is defeated, and he may commit a blunder in the Palestinian arena, endangering the entire Islamic community,"
The top leader went on to say that “what is happening in Palestine, Al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa Mosque is that we are fighting against a vicious and wacky enemy, warning "crisis-ridden "Israel" could comment a foolish act".
Furthermore, Nasrallah went on to say that all Arab and Muslim nations must observe what is happening in Palestine and Al-Aqsa, the precious and blessed country.
“The Palestinians in Gaza, Al-Quds, the West Bank, and the 1948 territories are committed to preserve Al-Quds and the sacred places; the nation must also fulfill its responsibilities,” Sayyed Nasrallah added.
"Al-Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque are the nation's main cause," he asserted.
The top leader said, "We're putting in a lot of effort to equate the attacks on Al-Quds to a regional war."
Saudi failure in Yemen
Sayyed Nasrallah said that the first glimpse of the new equation rose from dear Yemen.
“We witness today the failure of the Saudi-American war on Yemen,” he stressed.
“What we are suffering in Lebanon today is a part of what the Yemeni people have been enduring for years to force them to compromise,” he added.
Sayyed Nasrallah continued, "We have believed in the Yemeni people's ability to remain steady and emerge triumphant since day one of the Saudi aggression on Yemen."
“The US wants the war in Yemen to stop but they want the blockade to continue,” he urged.
"Lebanon needs a Courageous political decision"
In response to the Lebanese crisis, Nasrallah chastised traders who were stockpiling food and medicine in the face of the country's dire economic conditions. He asked the government to face them in order to address some of the country's economic issues.
The fuel crisis in the country, which had the Lebanese queue up at gas stations could be settled “within days” through the purchase of fuel products from Iran, Nasrallah stressed.
Such transaction, however, required “a courageous political decision,” he added. Nasrallah concludes, "forming a new administration is the typical way to combat the effects of crises and set the country on the path of resolutions."
