Ahead of Flag March, PLO Warns “Israel”
As Israeli aggression escalates against Palestinians, Al-Quds Association of the Palestine Liberation Organization warns “Israel” from carrying out “Flag March”.
Al-Quds Association of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) warned of new confrontations in Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem) if the "Flag March" was held on Tuesday.
The march has been moved from Thursday, June 10 to Tuesday, June 15, two days after the Knesset votes to accept a new government that will oust Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The warning came just ahead of a contentious march scheduled to be held through parts of Al-Quds.
Abu al-Baha: "Al-Quds Brigades are prepared"
On his part, the commander of the elite unit in Al-Quds Brigades, Abu al-Baha, cautioned that if “the enemy carries out its usual activities in Al-Quds and other places, our decision is already made that it is possible the war will return”.
“Al-Quds Brigades have blocked the enemy's efforts to strike our fighters in tunnels, and we are prepared to go down in the field square”, he added.
Abu al-Baha has also urged Palestinian resistance to increase the strength and capabilities in the field, before the battle of Al-Quds.”
“The tunnels will be a cemetery for Israeli occupation soldiers, and “Israel” will see “our misery inside the occupied territories in 1948,” he added.
The martyrdom of Ibtisam Al-Kaabneh
In a new escalation, Ibtisam Al-Kaabneh, freed Palestinian prisoner, was martyred on Saturday by Israeli occupation forces at Qalandia checkpoint, north of Al-Quds.
The 28 years old martyr was deliberately shot by occupation soldiers who claimed that she had a knife in her possession.
The Palestinian Authority's prisons ministry said that Ibtissam was arrested and sentenced to 18 months in prison by “Israel” in 2016.
Rami Salah: Assaulted and taken by Israeli forces
Activists have also released photos of an undercover assault on a Palestinian youth, Rami Salah, in Al-Tur, east of Al-Quds, during which he was violently beaten and then taken to an unknown location.

After the martyrdom of Al-Kaabneh, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry on Sunday accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of seeking to inflame the situation in Al-Quds to save his political career.
The ministry also cautioned against undermining “international and regional efforts aimed at strengthening the cease-fire and putting an end to the ongoing aggression against Palestinians”.
