On his part, Ayman Odeh, the head of the Arab Joint List, said that the flag of Palestine will be flown on these [Old City] walls, speaking from outside Al-Quds's Old City as the “flag march” passes by.

"The battle with the occupation will end with the liberation off Al-Quds,” he added.

Furthermore, Hamas commander Ismail Radwan told Al Mayadeen that "the resistance is ready if Al-Aqsa Mosque is attacked."

Talal Abu Zarifa, a member of the Democratic Front's Political Bureau, responded by saying that "the time of storming Al-Quds without a response has ended," adding that "real resistance options exist and “Israel” takes responsibility for violating the commitments."

Besides, the Palestinian Red Crescent says 27 people have been injured in clashes with Israeli occupation forces in Al-Quds.

The clashes took place as Israeli occupation forced Palestinians to stay away from the Damascus Gate area due to the "Flags March".
