A new poll published by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research revealed that Palestinian support for Hamas increased following the 'Seif Al-Quds' (Sword of Jerusalem) battle.
The poll that included in-person interviews with 1200 Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza revealed that 53% believe that Hamas has the right to represent the Palestinian people and lead them, while only 14% said the same about Fatah.
It also revealed that 77% of Palestinians consider that Hamas came out victorious from its war with 'Israel'.
According to the poll, 65% of the Palestinian respondents said that Hamas forced 'Israel,' by firing rockets, to stop the displacement of the families of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
