Al-Mashat congratulates Raisi.. praising the elections
Head of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, considers that the success of the elections consolidates "the option of building a strong Iran despite the sanctions."
The head of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, announced that "the success of the electoral process in Iran is a victory for the principles of the Islamic revolution, and in the consolidation of confronting the Zionist-American project."
Al-Mashat said, after the results of the Iranian elections were announced, that "the success of the elections consolidates the option of building a strong and capable Iran despite the unjust sanctions that we call to be removed and lifted from the shoulders of the Muslim people, who clearly announced their choice."
He said, "We look forward to strengthening relations between the Republic of Yemen and the Islamic Republic of Iran during the next stage in all fields."
President-elect Ebrahim Raisi received congratulatory messages from presidents and officials around the world, calling on him to consolidate relations and develop bilateral cooperation.
Palestinian factions also congratulated Ebrahim's election after his victory was officially announced, and praised "the great Iranian role in supporting the rights and resistance of our Palestinian people."
Today, Saturday, Iran officially announced the victory of Ebrahim Raisi in the presidential elections and reported that 48.8% turn out.
