Occupation government extends Kochavi's term
Israeli media says that the occupation government extended Chief Of Staff Aviv Kochavi's term for one year.
The Israeli government approved Sunday, during its weekly session, of Minster of Security Benny Gantz's proposal to extend Israeli occupation forces Chief of General Staff Aviv Kochavi's term for an additional year. This will be Kochavi's 4th year in office as - according to the decision - his term will end in January 2023, according to i24news.
Gantz was previously attempting to undermine Kochavi's term due to the failures during the latest Seif Al-Quds (the sword of Jerusalem) battle.
Israeli media reported Sunday that Kochavi traveled to the United States with Iran, Gaza, and replenishing the Israeli supply of smart bombs and anti-ballistic missiles on his agenda, adding that his main mission will be to attempt to influence the terms of the new nuclear agreement that is bound to be signed with Iran.
And the Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth reported that "an additional important issue will be the Israeli request to replenish the Israeli army's stockpile of smart bombs and Iron Dome interceptor missiles that it used in Operation Guardian of the Walls."
