2nd American spy plane downed in Ma'rib
A spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces announced that the forces downed a US "Scan Eagle" spy plane with a surface-to-air missile over the airspace of Al-Mushajah in Ma'rib Governorate
The Yemeni Armed Forces shot down a US Scan Eagle spy plane in the Al Mashjah area, west of Ma'rib, for the second time within 48 hours.
The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said in a tweet on Twitter: "The air defenses managed to shoot down an American spy plane (Scan Eagle) with a surface-to-air missile in Al-Mashjah area airspace in the Sirwah district of Ma'rib governorate," noting that the plane was shot down while carrying out hostile operations.
Last Sunday, the military media broadcast scenes of the American spy plane falling over the Al Mashjah area in the Serwah district, west of Ma'rib Governorate, northeastern Yemen.
Brigadier-General Saree said that the Yemeni air defenses shot down an American spy plane, a "Scan Eagle," with a surface-to-air missile, while it was "carrying out hostile acts" in the Al-Mashjah area airspace."
