Russian Ministry of Defense: terrorists preparing attack in Syria
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation monitors terrorists' movements intending to launch a chemical attack to blame the Syrian Arab Army for it.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that terrorist militants, alongside the White Helmets, are preparing to launch a "chemical attack" on the de-escalation zone in Idlib, Syria.
The deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria, Vadim Kulit, said that the center "received intelligence that the terrorists of 'Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham' are preparing for provocations in the de-escalation zone in Idlib by using toxic substances."
Sources reported that the terrorists "delivered a tanker truck containing a toxic substance to the village of Atma, Idlib, which they are planning to fill rockets with."
The source added, "According to available information, the terrorists, in cooperation with the White Helmets, intend to carry out a chemical attack in order to accuse the Syrian government forces of using toxic substances against civilians."
It concluded by saying, "Syria confirmed its categorical rejection of anyone using chemical substances anywhere under any circumstances, and that it never used such weapons before and it cannot use them now because it doesn't possess them, to begin with."
