For his part, Hamas leader Sami Abu Zuhri condemned the "crime of assassination" of the activist and parliamentary candidate Nizar Banat by the PNSF, adding that this crime "reflects the bloody policy of the authority in settling accounts."

Zuhri also called for the prosecution of the persecutors, holding Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh primarily responsible for the crime.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine also held "the authority and security services responsible for the assassination of the activist Banat."

As for the Palestinian National Initiative movement, it demanded a commission to investigate the death of girls from outside the authority and from independent personalities.
