The Popular Resistance Committees stated that, after his 25-day-long hunger strike, the 43-year-old liberated prisoner Sheikh Khader Adnan is victorious in his heroic battle against the Israeli jailer.

The Popular Resistance Committees considered this to be "a new victory for the movement of prisoners and the Palestinian people who contributed by supporting and strengthening their steadfastness."

In a statement issued by their media office, the committees considered that Sheikh Adnan's victory proves once again that "rights are assumed by steadfastness, will, and resistance."

The prisoners' media office said, "Prisoner sheikh Adnan is victorious again against administrative detention and suspended his strike after a decision was taken to release him on Monday."

The committees called to support the two prisoners, Ghadanfar Abu Atwan and Jamal Al-Tawil, in confronting the occupying jailer.

On May 30, the Israeli occupation re-arrested Sheikh Adnan at one of the checkpoints in Arraba, Jenin, and transferred him to an unknown location.

Sheikh Adnan continued his hunger strike, and an Israeli court extended his detention in Megiddo Prison, Jenin.

Sheikh Adnan, who is married and has 9 children, is considered the trigger of the empty intestine revolution against the policy of administrative detention in the occupation prisons.

The occupation released Sheikh Khader Adnan on November 13, 2018.

On October 29, 2018, he stopped his hunger strike after 58 days, and his family considered it his "third victory."
