Al-Houthi Replies to State Department: the Yemeni People are the Ones that are Fed up
Supreme National Political Council in Yemen member Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi commented on Twitter on the US State Department’s briefing, wherein the spokesperson related that the State Department is “beyond fed up” with the Sana'a government forces’ attacks in Ma'rib. Al-Houthi replied that the Yemeni people is the one that was fed up of “the embargo and the aggression of the US, UK, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and their allies.”

Al-Houthi also added that the Yemeni people are also fed up with a “hollow statement asking for peace from the same people killing them on a daily basis, either by way of artillery, the embargo, or the sanctions.”
The SPC member also asked, “why has the US not had enough of selling its weapons to aggression forces? This is the true reason behind the continuation of the war and the attempt to occupy the Yemeni Republic.”

He affirmed that the US’s being fed up would “end just as soon as they end their aggression, embargo, and their occupation of Yemen.”
Al Mayadeen’s Yemen correspondent had reported that the Saudi coalition’s forces had resumed their shelling of the governorates of Munabbeh, Shada, Al-Thaher, and Razeh that border the Saudi Gizan province, West of Yemen’s Sa'dah province in the North.
This comes a mere hours after the martyrdom of two civilians following a Saudi coalition rocket attack on the area of Al-Raqqou in the Munabbeh governorate, raising the casualty toll of the past 48h to two martyrs 20 injured.
Sa'dah Province’s Health Bureau Director, Yahya al-Shayem, told Al Mayadeen that the Saudi shelling of Al-Raqqou during May and June led to the martyrdom of 12 civilians and the injury of more than 80, including children and 10 African immigrants.
Yesterday, Yemeni war media broadcast scenes from an attack launched by Yemeni forces against a Saudi coalition camp in the Al-Wadia border region, using tens of Qasef 2K drones.
During the past month, the city of Ma'rib has witnessed battles between the Sana'a government on the one hand and forces supported by the Saudi coalition on the other. Just days ago, Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesperson General Yahya Sare’e declared that Yemeni air defenses shot down an American “Scan Eagle” spy drone during its flight over Ma'rib.
Also, army and Popular Committees forces targeted congregations grouping the forces of Abed Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, the coalition, and Al-Islah party in Ma’rib, using four ballistic missiles and a drone.
