Russia: "Significant Progress" in JCPOA talks
Significant progress was achieved during recent talks in Vienna to revive the Iran nuclear deal, said Russia's permanent representative to International Organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov.

Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, stressed the imminent revival of the nuclear agreement with Iran and to lift US sanctions on Tehran.
Ulyanov tweeted that the "Continued contacts and dialogue between Iran and the IAEA are of paramount importance, especially at this stage when we can expect full restoration of JCPOA and sanctions lifting soon."
He added that talks between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are crucial, especially in light of the expected revival of the Joint Action Plan and abolishing sanctions.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that "The West is trying to exploit the current situation to change the terms of the nuclear agreement." Lavrov said significant progress was achieved during recent talks to revive the Iran nuclear deal, stressing the "full and unconditional renewal of all US obligations".
Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, also considered that "the United States continues its policy of exerting maximum pressure on Iran, violating UN Security Council Resolution 2231, which regulated the development of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)."
