Al Mayadeen correspondent reported hearing an explosion on the eve of Eid al-Adha in Sadr City, east of Baghdad.
Our correspondent reported that the explosion was the result of an explosive device in Woheilat Market, Sadr City. The explosion resulted in several casualties.
The Iraqi Ministry of Interior issued a statement saying, "A terror attack using a locally-made IED in Woheilat Market in Sadr City, in east Baghdad, left several victims dead and others injured."
