Rouhani Greets Emir of Qatar on Eid Al-Adha

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani affirmed the strength of the relations between their countries during an Eid al-Adha phone call.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani greeted Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and the people of Qatar on Monday, on Eid al-Adha. "Regional and international conditions require continuous cooperation, contacts, and communication between the two countries," Rouhani added.
Rouhani stated that the fixed approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran is based on the three axes of moderation and wisdom, constructive interaction, and conflict resolution through dialogue.
Sheikh Tamim described the relations between Iran and Qatar as ‘good,’ praising President Rouhani's efforts to "strengthen relations between the two countries during his presidency."
The Emir of Qatar said that relations between the two countries had witnessed a qualitative leap over the past eight years, stressing that regional conflicts cannot be resolved militarily but rather through dialogue and a political process.
