Occupied Jerusalem: Palestinian Prisoner Martyred
Palestinian prisoner Abdo Yousef al-Khatib al-Tamimi was martyred in the al-Maskobia interrogation center in Occupied Jerusalem after being subjected to tormenting torture and electrocution, according to his relatives.
Yesterday, the Palestinian Prisoner Abdo Yousef al-Khatib al-Tamimi, 43, was martyred. The young Palestinian from Shu'fat Camp was martyred just days after being arrested by occupation forces and incarcerated in the al-Maskobia interrogation center.
The occupation police told the family that their son died after having a heart attack, while his relatives pointed out that the torture and electrocution he was subjected to were the main reason for his martyrdom.

According to Palestinian media, a relative of the martyr said that the family received testimonies from prisoners in the al-Maskobia center, who said that they heard a person screaming as he was being beaten from one of the interrogation cells at approximately 6 p.m.
One of the testimonies said that the Palestinian martyr was electrocuted moments before he died, as reported by Palestinian media.
The family demanded an autopsy on their son's body in the presence of a Palestinian doctor.
According to reports, the young Palestinian Abdo Yousef al-Khatib al-Tamimi has been in prison since July 18 on charges of violating traffic laws.
