Centcom Announces its Withdrawal from Seven New Facilities in Afghanistan
US Central Command says the US has handed over seven of its facilities to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.
United States Central Command released a statement on the withdrawal of American military forces from Afghanistan, which reads:
"Since the President's decision, the DoD has retrograded the equivalent of approximately 984 C-17 loads of material out of Afghanistan and have turned nearly 17,074 pieces of equipment to the Defense Logistics Agency for disposition."

The statement also added that the US has officially handed over seven facilities to the Afghan Ministry of Defense. According to Centcom's estimate, more than 95% of the withdrawal process has been completed.
