The Israeli media said that a rocket fell causing "warning sirens to sound in the Kiryat Shmona area. Two rockets hit open areas, while the third fell short of the border."
Israelis reported no injuries as a result of the rocket, and the fire that broke out in the area was under control.
Israeli "Channel 13" reported that ambulances rushed to the site where the rocket fell, and the occupation army retaliated with artillery fire towards south Lebanon, noting that "the incident was startling in the north."
They added that "a barrage of rockets fell on Kiryat Shmona, launched from eastern south Lebanon, with no reports of casualties so far," while "the mayor of Kiryat Shmona asked residents to seek shelter, for the time being, fearing additional rockets."
Israeli media disclosed that "assessments indicate that a Palestinian organization was responsible for the attack and after retaliating, the Israelis consider the incident done."
