Israeli Media: We Will Watch Nasrallah's Speech on Saturday
After the latest tensions in South Lebanon, Israeli "Kan TV" says that "Israel" will be awaiting Nasrallah's speech on Saturday to find out where things are headed.
Israeli "Kan TV's" Arab affairs commentator said, "something important is set to take place on Saturday, as Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah will give a - pre-made - speech, but he will discuss the recent tensions at the northern border."
The commentator added, "so it seems that we Israelis will also be watching" the speech on TV "so we can understand where to go from here. Will this be a calm period, or will things head to an additional escalation in the North?"
Lebanese President Michel Aoun condemned today, Thursday, the latest Israeli aggression on South Lebanon, calling it a "direct threat to security and stability," emphasizing the need to file a complaint with the United Nations to force Israel to discontinue its attacks on Lebanon.
PM of the caretaker government Hassan Diab called on the UN and International Security Council to stop Israel's repeated violations of Lebanon's sovereignty.
The Israeli air force conducted airstrikes after midnight Wednesday on South Lebanon.
On Wednesday, occupation forces announced that four rockets were fired from Lebanon towards the occupied territories, pointing out that the rocket that fell on Kiryat Shmona caused a large fire in the area, but no casualties.
