The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the occupation committed 8 massacres in 24 hours, killing 84 and injuring 106. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7 to 32,226, in addition to 74,518 injuries.

It is noteworthy that numerous victims remain trapped under the rubble, presumed dead, as "Israel" prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.

Concurrently, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that the Israeli occupation besieged Al-Amal and al-Nasr hospitals in Gaza. The PRCS reported heavy gunfire and intense shelling around the two hospitals, stressing that the Israeli occupation forces are also conducting excavation work around Al-Amal Hospital. The situation has put the medical teams, patients, and displaced citizens in the hospitals in grave danger as they are immobilized, the report added.

Furthermore, there have been 8,000 reported cases of viral hepatitis infections attributed to displacement, highlighting the perilous conditions faced by forcibly displaced populations. In addition, an estimated 17,000 children are now living without one or both parents.

Moreover, 11,000 wounded individuals arfe in urgent need of medical treatment to preserve their lives.

Massive destruction

The toll of destruction wrought by the ongoing genocide in Gaza is staggering, with the official statistics revealing extensive damage to vital infrastructure and cultural landmarks. The relentless bombardment has destroyed 168 government facilities, crippling administrative functions in the region, as per the statistics.

Furthermore, the education sector has been severely impacted, with an alarming 100 schools and universities reduced to rubble.

The assault on religious sites is equally devastating, with 224 mosques and 3 churches reduced to rubble.

The widespread destruction also extended to residential areas, with an estimated 70,000 housing units decimated by the violence. The displacement and homelessness resulting from this devastation further compound the humanitarian crisis gripping the region.

In addition to the loss of life and livelihoods, Gaza's rich heritage and cultural legacy are also under attack, with 200 heritage and cultural sites bearing the brunt of the brutal Israeli aggression.

The Israeli occupation has reportedly dropped 70,000 tons of explosives on Gaza, as per the statistics.

War on hospitals

The escalating Israeli aggression on Gaza has inflicted severe damage on the region's healthcare infrastructure, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian crisis. Official statistics indicated that 32 hospitals, 53 medical centers, and 158 medical institutions have been significantly affected by the relentless Israeli bombings.

The destruction extends beyond facilities to include essential emergency response resources, with 126 ambulances rendered inoperable due to the attacks.

As a result of the destruction of medical facilities and resources, access to essential healthcare services for Gaza's civilian population has been severely restricted, placing countless lives at further risk.

The occupation also launched artillery shells across Khan Younis, particularly in the western regions, along with the surroundings of the Nasser Medical Complex being targeted by artillery shelling.

He added that the invading Israeli forces are repositioning their vehicles in Khan Younis neighborhoods.
