In the southern part of Gaza City, occupation forces destroyed the main building of the al-Israa University, as reported by Palestinian media, while Israeli artillery continued shelling the western areas of the city.

The latest massacre in Rafah adds to the 16 massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces against Gazan families in the past 24 hours, resulting in over 160 martyrs and 350 injuries.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that the number of Palestinians martyred in the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7 has risen to 24,448, in addition to 61,504 injuries.

According to the Ministry, Hepatitis A is spreading in Gaza due to overpopulation in refugee-full areas. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has previously warned against the spread of infectious diseases in the Gaza Strip.
