Today, Thursday, liberated Palestinian prisoner Anhar al-Deek gave birth to her newborn in a hospital in the city of Ramallah in central West Bank few days after her release from Israeli occupation prisons.

Palestinian human rights organizations had launched a campaign to demand the release of Anhar, who was arrested on March 8, the day that coincides with International Women's Day.
Anhar was three months pregnant at the time. She spent her prison sentence in difficult conditions, while the occupation forces ignored her health conditions.
Israeli occupation authorities released Anhar on bail a few days ago and imposed a house arrest on her near Ramallah.
It is noteworthy to mention that the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs pointed out that the decision to release Anhar al-Deek on bail, which the commission's lawyer forcefully extracted from the Israeli occupation court, does not mean the end of her trial.
