2nd IRGC military advisor martyred in Syria post Israeli aggression
The IRGC vowed retaliation against the Zionist regime's crime.
Iran news agencies reported on Sunday that a second IRGC military advisor succumbed to his injuries today following an aggression waged by "Israel" on Syria on March 31.
"Meghdad Mehghani had been wounded during the Zionist attack on Friday dawn and was martyred," Iran’s IRIB News reported.
This comes after another IRGC advisor, Milad Heidari, was declared martyred after succumbing to injuries in the same aggression that took Meghdad's life.
The IRGC vowed retaliation saying "the Zionist regime will surely receive a response to its crime."
According to reports, the strike was reported to be the sixth since the beginning of the month of March.

On Friday morning at 00:17 Damascus time, Israeli fighter jets broke into Syria's airspace from the occupied Golan Heights, and targeted a facility located in the suburbs of Damascus, SANA reported.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said in a statement issued on Friday morning that the international community failed to adopt appropriate and deterrent measures against the aggression of "Tel Aviv" on Syria, noting that the Zionist entity shamelessly targeted civilian airports and residential areas.
"The latest Israeli airstrike on Syria is a blatant and repeated violation of international law and principles, a move by the regime to divert attention from internal crises and deep divisions within its society, as well as a testament to Israel’s dissatisfaction with growing stability in Syria and the recent rapprochement between the war-torn Arab country and world countries," the official said.
"Such an approach has emboldened the regime to continue violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of an independent country and a member of the United Nations, and to persist in committing crimes against its citizens and military forces," he added.
