35 US-UK strikes on Yemen since start of Ramadan: Al Mayadeen tally
The tally shows that most of the strikes targeted the province of Hodeidah.
The US-British aggression has carried out 35 airstrikes on Yemen since the beginning of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, with most of the strikes targeting the province of Hodeidah on the Red Sea coast in western Yemen, according to an Al Mayadeen tally.
On early Friday, the US-British aggression launched three airstrikes on the coastal district of Abs on the Red Sea in Hajjah province northwest of Yemen, hours after the joint aggression targeted the neighboring Hodeidah province with 11 airstrikes.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the American-British aggression targeted the areas of targeting the areas of al-Jah, al-Faza, Ras Issa, and Hodeidah Airport.
He indicated that the American-British aggression targeted al-Jah with four airstrikes, Hodeidah Airport with one airstrike, al-Faza with two airstrikes, and Ras Issa with four. The attacks came one day after the US and the UK targeted Hodeidah Airport with four waves of strikes.
It is noteworthy that Hodeidah Airport, south of the coastal city, has been targeted six times by the US-British aggression since January 12. The same airport had previously been completely destroyed during the Saudi-led coalition aggression that started in March 2015.
With the newest aggression, the total number of US-UK airstrikes on the province of Hodeidah since the first day of the month of Ramadan now stands at 27.
The province was subjected to 13 airstrikes last Monday, coinciding with five airstrikes by US and British aircraft targeting the Takhya area in the Majz District in Saada province north of Yemen, with a total of 35 airstrikes on the provinces of Saada, Hodeidah, and Hajjah during the past four days of Ramadan.
