5 Hezbollah martyrs, including son of party's parliamentary bloc chief
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced the martyrdom of five resistance fighters on Wednesday evening while they were carrying out their Resistance duty.
Five Hezbollah Resistance fighters were martyred while carrying out their Resistance duty, the party's military media announced on Wednesday evening, as the group continues carrying out operations against Israeli military sites in support of Palestine and Gaza.
This comes after the Israeli occupation launched a series of strikes on a number of Lebanese areas in the country's southern region.
In a statement, the Islamic Resistance said that the martyrs are: Abbas Raad, Ahmad Mustafa, Mohammad Hassan Sherri, Bassam Kanjo, and Khalil Shhimi.

One of the martyrs, Abbas Raad, is the son of the head of Hezbollah's parliamentary bloc - The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc - Mohammed Raad.
As the border confrontations between Hezbollah and the Israeli military enter their seventh week, voices expressing frustration continue to rise inside the occupation entity.
Media outlets and top officials have been warning that the Resistance has managed to force settlers in northern occupied Palestine to evacuate away from the border, while it continues to increase operations against Israeli army sites on a daily basis, with no signs that it is deterred.
Settlers repeatedly announced that they would not be returning to their residences near Lebanon until the Hezbollah "threat is eliminated". This notion was also declared by many top officials, who stressed that "danger from the north" - Hezbollah - must be dealt with, otherwise settlements will remain vacated.

Hezbollah supports Gaza
Since October 8, Hezbollah has been launching daily operations against Israeli military targets and sites, which are also increasing in frequency and intensity by the day.
Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah earlier disclosed that Washington conveyed messages through third parties to the Resistance party, including both threats and requests, to push the group against intervening in the Israeli war on Gaza.
However, he stressed that the Resistance disregarded these warnings and will continue to carry out its duty in support of Palestine and Gaza.
