Approximately 253,000 Israelis have been evacuated from settlements in northern and southern occupied Palestine since November 1, according to figures released by the "National Emergency Management Agency" in "Israel" (NEMA), as reported by the Knesset Information and Research Center.
Among these, about 94,000 were evacuated or voluntarily relocated to other settlements, while around 88,000 others were transferred to hotels. Additionally, approximately 70,000 settlers decided to evacuate of their own accord.
According to the "Israeli Institute for National Security Studies," this is the largest evacuation of settlers in "Israel" since 1948, which poses an economic and societal burden on Israeli society.
This comes as the Palestinian Resistance continues to target Israeli settlements in the Gaza Envelope more than 172 days after the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, during which "Israel" failed to secure protection for its settlers in that area.
In northern occupied Palestine, where the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah continues its military operations against Israeli military sites and forces, as well as in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, Israeli settlements have become akin to "ghost towns," deserted by of settlers who are at their wits' ends amid their government's inaction.
Since October 8, 2023, Hezbollah's Resistance fighters have been attacking Israeli occupation forces and military sites along the border with occupied Palestine, in support of the people of Gaza and the Palestinian Resistance.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has reiterated that it will suspend its operations against Israeli targets once the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip ends.
