Abu Hamza: Ready to release two captives on humanitarian grounds
The military spokesperson for al-Quds Brigades Abu Hamza says the Resistance is facing a global war aimed at annihilating the Palestinian people.
The military spokesperson for the Al-Quds Brigades, Abu Hamza, announced in a televised speech on Thursday that the Israeli occupation bears full responsibility for the lives of the captives held by the Resistance group in Gaza amid its savage bombing of the Strip.
In that context, Abu Hamza announced the Resistance's readiness to release two Israeli captives on humanitarian and health grounds, Hanna Katsir and Yagil Yaqoub.
On the ongoing violent Israeli aggression on besieged Gaza, the spokesperson denounced the international silence regarding the Israeli crimes and massacres against civilians but confirmed that al-Quds Brigades' fighters will continue to defend the Strip against invading forces.
“The Resistance is facing a global war whose goal is to annihilate [the] Palestinian people, and the enemy is targeting everything, even its own settlers [captives].”

Al-Qassam: One soldier killed, another injured in Israeli bombing of Gaza
In the context of captives, al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian movement Hamas, announced on Thursday that one Israeli soldier who was held captive, Faul Azay Mark Asiani, was killed and another was injured in the brutal Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip.
On Wednesday, the spokesperson for Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades reiterated that the only way captives would be released is through an exchange deal, comprehensive or partial.
In a speech, Abu Obeida said the proposal for a partial exchange could be in the form of "women for women, the sick for the sick, and Israeli soldiers for Palestinian Resistance fighters."
Additionally, Abu Obeida recalled that the occupation had recently obstructed the release of 12 captives held by the Resistance in Gaza, noting that this "stubbornness puts the lives of foreign captives and their families at risk as the bombardment continues."
Concluding his public address, Abu Obeida also confirmed that the Resistance will continue to confront Israeli occupation forces invading Gaza.
He declared a new phase in the battle, warning the Israeli occupation entity of a "new phase of wrath [to be unleashed on the Israeli forces]" and called on Palestinians and fighters across all occupied Palestine to mobilize and "crush the Zionist project."
