Afghanistan mosque blast leaves 20 casualties
Another deadly explosion has struck Afghanistan, causing at least 20 casualties following an attack on a mosque in Kunduz.
An explosion erupted in a mosque in the northern Afghan city of Kunduz, resulting in 20 casualties, the commander of Kunduz province, Qari Badri, said Friday.
Kunduz province chief Badri told Reuters at least 20 people had been affected by the mosque explosion, and they are between killed and wounded.
It is not clear who was behind the latest explosion in a series of blasts ravaging Afghanistan and claimed by ISIS, including one in Kunduz and another on a mosque in Mazar-i-Sharif on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Afghan news agency Amaj News reported that the attack resulted in at least 30 casualties, while TOLOnews reported that there were no less than seven dead.
