Ahead of 'awaited speech', Hezbollah expands operation scope (footage)
Israeli media outlets continue to reflect on how "everyone is waiting for [Sayyed] Nasrallah’s speech tomorrow."
Hezbollah has expanded its operational scope against "Israel" on the northern front, according to Israeli media, which stressed that "everyone is waiting for Nasrallah’s speech tomorrow."
Israeli media reported that earlier today, for the first time since the start of military operations in the north, sirens are sounding in "Safad".
According to the correspondent of Israeli Channel 13, Shlomi Aldar, located in the north of "Israel", the expansion on the northern front is not in vain, adding that Hezbollah has a message, which is that "the more Israeli pressure on Hamas in the Gaza Strip is, the more they (Hezbollah) suggest that we are present here, on the northern front."
Aldar pointed out that the settlers of "Kiryat Shmona" are experiencing an "exceptional atmosphere" for the first time since the 2006 July War. The correspondent further highlighted, "The noise here pierces the ears and the sounds of cannons are everywhere, and they live in an atmosphere of war all the time."
On his part, US National Security Spokesperson John Kirby announced that the White House is concerned following a series of Hezbollah operations targeting Israeli military sites, resulting in an exchange of fire. The violence spikes at the Lebanese border may be concerning, Kirby claimed, but they are not to be confused as an indication that Hezbollah is ready "to go in full force," he claimed.
"We're concerned about continued attacks on Israeli forces there in the north, as are the Israelis, but I don't believe we've seen any indication yet specifically that Hezbollah is ready to go in full force," Kirby said during the press briefing.

It is important to note that earlier, Kirby had confirmed that the US administration will be following closely the speech of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, scheduled for Friday.
Kirby also announced, "Our message to him [Nasrallah] is not to expand the conflict in the region."
