Al-Aqsa Flood cannot be extinguished: Sayyed Khamenei
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was forced to call for a ceasefire after suffering heavy losses in southern Lebanon.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic in Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, underlined that the Al-Aqsa Flood cannot be extinguished, stressing that the Israeli occupation entity is destined for demise.
For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was forced to call for a ceasefire after suffering heavy losses in southern Lebanon despite the full backing of the United States.
In another post on X, Araghchi pointed out that Hezbollah "once again shattered myth of Israel's invincibility" stressing that the occupation will have to accept defeat in Gaza as well.
Over the past year, Netanyahu has milked US taxpayers of tens of billions of dollars to fund his war crimes, all while enjoying full US military support and political cover. He was still forced to plead for a ceasefire, after heavy casualties in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah once…

Regarding the ceasefire agreement, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei announced that Iran welcomed the cessation of Israeli aggression against Lebanon, reiterating its steadfast support for the Lebanese government, people, and Resistance.
Baghaei emphasized Iran's commitment to peace in the region and highlighted its ongoing diplomatic efforts to halt hostilities in Gaza and Lebanon over the past 14 months, which have killed tens of thousands and caused widespread destruction of vital infrastructure.
"The result of the warmongering and crimes committed by the Zionist regime, fully supported by the United States and certain European governments, is the martyrdom of 60,000 innocent people, the wounding of 120,000 individuals, and the displacement of over 3.5 million oppressed people in Palestine and Lebanon," Baghaei said.
Baghaei called attention to international legal actions against "Israel", including temporary orders by the International Court of Justice to prevent genocide and an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
He underscored the global demand for justice, stating, "Public opinion worldwide has been calling for an end to war and genocide for the past 14 months. Today, they await the trial and punishment of the perpetrators from the occupying regime."
The Iranian official urged the international community to fulfill its responsibility in maintaining peace and stability in West Asia and to exert effective pressure on the Israeli occupation to cease its military actions in Gaza.
'Now stop in Gaza', Haaretz says after Lebanon ceasefire
After over a year of war, fighting at the northern borders of occupied Palestine is coming to a close amid a mediated ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Israeli occupation. The agreement, Haaretz underlined, mirrors the framework of UN Security Council 1701 reached at the end of the 2006 July 2006 war.
The agreement stipulates that the Israeli military gradually withdraw from South Lebanon, while Hezbollah vacates areas south of the Litani River and the Lebanese Army assumes control of the region.
Israeli opposition figures went ballistic over the agreement. Benny Gantz, leader of the National Unity Party, said, "The withdrawal of forces now, along with the dynamics it will create, will make it harder for us and easier for Hezbollah to reorganize. We must not settle for half measures or miss the opportunity for a stronger agreement that fundamentally changes the situation in the north."
Meanwhile, others welcomed it as a step toward enabling displaced Israeli settlers to return and begin rebuilding in northern occupied Palestine. However, critics argue that the Israeli leadership, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has historically failed to enforce Resolution 1701 and prevent military buildup.
While the agreement on the northern front may separate the fronts, concerns remain over the ongoing war in Gaza, Haaretz said. "The Israeli military has achieved a significant goal by preventing the unity of fronts strategy pursued by Iran and Hezbollah, yet the southern conflict continues to devastate Gaza."
The Israeli newspaper stressed the issue of Israeli captives held in Gaza, 101 of which Hamas has repeatedly underlined are at risk of losing their lives any moment due to Israeli aggression.
The Resistance group recently released footage showing the body of an Israeli captive they said was "a new victim of Netanyahu and [Israeli occupation forces Chief of Staff Herzi] Halevi."
