Al-Bukhaiti promises 'unforeseen surprises': Al Mayadeen
Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Ansar Allah Movement's political bureau, tells Al Mayadeen that a shift in rules of engagement will now oversee the Red Sea.
A member of the Ansar Allah movement’s political bureau, Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, announced that “the axis of resistance has regained control of the region, and the Americans will regret their aggression against Yemen and will lose.”
He also stressed that Yemen today is imposing the rules of engagement and is preventing the passage of American and Israeli ships, pointing to the Yemeni armed forces' responsibility for targeting an American warship earlier, “which caused the loss of two American naval forces.”
In attributing the recent escalations to the American and British governments, al-Bukhaiti emphasized the ongoing development of the Yemeni armed forces' missile capabilities, promising unforeseen surprises. He also urged Washington to exert pressure on "Israel" to halt its aggression against Gaza.
Earlier, the spokesperson of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that a US ship was targeted in the Gulf of Aden.
"The naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting an American ship in the Gulf of Aden, with several appropriate naval missiles, resulting in precise and direct hits."
He affirmed that all American and British ships and military units participating in the aggression against Yemen, are considered legitimate targets for the Yemeni Armed Forces: falling within their targets' list.
In the same context, the US Central Command said that Ansar Allah launched an anti-ship ballistic missile and hit the M/V Gibraltar Eagle container ship.
