Al-Nakhala praises Iran's support for Palestinian people's resistance
The Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, during a meeting with the Iranian Foreign Minister in Tehran, hails Iran's active diplomacy toward other countries.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian reaffirmed Tehran's commitment to the Palestinian cause, vowing that Tehran will stand with the Palestinian people against Israeli atrocities.
During a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Tehran Ziad Al-Nakhala, Amir-Abdollahian called for unity and cohesion among Islamic countries in the face of the Israeli regime's aggression against Palestinians.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the top Iranian diplomat expressed hope that increased harmony and unity among Islamic countries would further weaken the enemies.
On his account, Al-Nakhala praised Iran's support for the Palestinian people's resistance and hailed the country's constructive role in regional developments and active diplomacy toward other countries, according to local media outlets.
Al-Nakhala also bashed regional efforts which aim to add pressure on Iran while downplaying the real threat the Israeli regime poses to the Muslim community, most notably Palestinians.
The Islamic Jihad leader, on the other hand, stated that the Islamic Republic's efforts and stances in confronting the world's hegemonic powers and supporting oppressed nations against occupiers and foreign powers inject strength into Palestine and weakness into the Muslim world's enemies.
Al-Nakhala emphasized the importance of further Palestinian unity, saying that resistance is the only way to drive the occupiers out of Palestine.
This is happening as the Israeli occupation forces have been actively storming villages in the occupied West Bank, aiming clearly at killing Palestinians and arresting others who, in turn, are confronting the occupation forces.
Since the beginning of 2022, the IOF killed more than 70 Palestinians, 27 of them from Jenin and its camp including Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was covering an Israeli raid in Jenin.
