The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, published a video on their Telegram channel on Wednesday titled “This is the Real Scene.”
The footage shows a tactical deception operation carried out by the group's fighters during the extraction of what the Israeli occupation thought was the body of a captive in the Gaza Strip, under the surveillance of Israeli drones.
According to the Brigades, the Israeli entity closely monitored the recovery through drone reconnaissance. "Israel" later added the location shown in the video to its target bank and bombed it in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
Al-Qassam further revealed that as part of a broader security deception strategy, resistance fighters employed several diversion techniques during the retrieval process in order to mislead the occupation forces.
Resistance counters Israeli propaganda
The video also responds to footage circulated by the Israeli military, which claimed to show the extraction of one of its dead captives. Al-Qassam stated that this was in fact a deception operation carried out by the resistance and that the occupation attempted to use it to distort the image of the resistance.
“The noble ethics of our resistance and the teachings of our righteous faith in dealing with captives and the bodies of the dead are beyond the comprehension of Nazis and bloodsuckers,” Al-Qassam stated.
20 bodies returned
Since the ceasefire in Gaza took effect on October 11, the al-Qassam Brigades have handed over the bodies of around 20 Israeli captives held in the Gaza Strip as part of the Flood of the Free deal.
As Hamas adheres to the ceasefire requirements, the Israeli occupation resumes its violations daily.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that three martyrs, including one newly killed and two recovered from under the rubble, and two injured individuals arrived at hospitals across the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.
The ministry noted that several victims remain trapped under the rubble and along roads, as ambulance and civil defense teams continue to face difficulties reaching them.
