Al-Qassam releases footage: A tunnel operation behind enemy lines
The Resistance group reveals a sophisticated operation using tunnels to launch a surprise attack on Israeli occupation forces stationed near the Gaza border.
In the first footage of its kind since the launching of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, al-Qassam Brigades revealed in footage a sophisticated operation where its Resistance fighters emerged from tunnels behind Israeli occupation forces stationed in "Erez" settlement, before targeting the military group using a wide range of weapons.
The video of the operation, which took place on Sunday, October 29, starts with a scene showing a drone belonging to the Resistance group monitoring a military gathering of the Israeli units surrounded by a number of tanks and personnel carriers.

Moving forward with the short clip, several fighters equipped with light machine guns and Al-Yassin 105 anti-tank rockets exited a tunnel opening and advanced covertly toward the Israeli gathering before engaging in the confrontation as they launched Al-Yassin 105 toward an Israeli military vehicle.
For the past few days, Resistance fighters have been targeting Israeli forces stationing near the Gaza borders preparing to infiltrate the Strip using rockets and mortars.

Gaza holds firm
Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades announced on Tuesday morning that its fighters targeted an Israeli occupation military force infiltrating the northern Gaza Strip, the Resistance group said in a statement.
On al-Bureij front, Resistance forces engaged in fierce confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces and managed to successfully thwart an incursion, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces were forced to retreat under Resistance fire from Salah al-Din Street, located east of al-Zeitoun neighborhood, which saw the direct targeting of an Israeli tank, one armored personnel carrier, and two military vehicles.

The southeastern front also witnessed heavy confrontations, as Resistance fighters engaged an Israeli force trying to make its way into Gaza through the Khan Yunis front.
On their part, al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, reported launching a rocket strike on Israeli military positions in the "Soufa" settlement, east of Rafah in southern Gaza.
Also in "Soufa", an Israeli infantry unit fell on Monday into an ambush set up by the Resistance in the settlement, which forced the aggression group to retreat after 3 hours of heavy confrontations.
In light of the Resistance's ongoing operations in response to the Israeli massacres in Gaza, the Israeli Health Minister said the Israelis are passing through "the most severe mental health crisis" the entity has ever faced.
