Al-Quds Israeli deputy mayor openly trying to expel Palestinians
Israeli deputy mayor of occupied Al-Quds reveals a framed plan to "encourage" Palestinians to leave their land in an attempt to empty Palestine of its rightful owners.
As part of the Israeli occupation's continuous attempts to forcibly expel Palestinians from their land in many ways, Israeli deputy mayor of occupied Al-Quds, Aryeh King, claimed on Wednesday that he is helping "a Jewish Zionist philanthropist" build a program to "encourage" Palestinians to leave Palestine, The Jerusalem Post reported.
On Facebook, King said that "a Jewish Zionist philanthropist contacted me, he is looking for a manager with a can-do attitude, for the benefit of a business initiative whose purpose is to encourage the emigration of non-Jews, outside the borders of the Land of Israel. The intention is to encourage non-Jews to relocate outside the borders of our country."
"If you are suitable, contact me (in a private Facebook message, Messenger) and we will arrange a meeting with the representative of the philanthropist," he wrote.
During an interview with King, 103FM hosts Ben Caspit and Aryeh Eldad compared the plan to a "laundered" version of a proposal by former Israeli occupation Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze'evi to forcibly expel Palestinians to Arab countries.
As per The Jerusalem Post, Ze'evi attempted to "encourage" Palestinians to leave Palestine by either reaching a deal to transfer them to other countries and offering them incentives or tightening the noose on them.
"During the time of Benny Elon, I was the head of the Moledet branch in Jerusalem and then we founded an organization called 'Hagar,' on the name of Hagar, the Egyptian, the mother of Ishmael, and the whole idea we took from there. Ishmael and Yitzhak didn't get along and there was no other option besides telling Hagar and her son, Ishamel, to leave," King told 103FM.
According to The Jerusalem Post, Elon was an Israeli politician who called for expelling Palestinians to Arab countries and the establishment of a Palestinian state in Jordan. In the early 2000s, he attempted to offer Palestinians $50,000 to $100,000 each to leave Palestine.
King insisted that this was a private plan that was unlinked to the Israeli occupation government, claiming that he does not want an "Arab-free Israel," despite stating that it is more important to him that the Israeli occupation "be Jewish than democratic."
In a separate interview with the Israeli occupation so-called Army Radio, King said that "for several years, Jews have been encouraged to 'transfer' - there are companies that target Jews with relocation offers, there are no companies that target Arabs."
"It is not written in the Declaration of Independence that Israel is a democratic state, it is a Jewish state where the minority has rights. It is more important to me that the country be Jewish than democratic," he indicated.
This comes at the expense of the original owners of the land, stripping them of their rights and confiscating their land, while Palestinians remain consistent in resisting the Judaization and settlement schemes of the Israeli occupation.
