Al-Sinaa prison in al-Hasakah completely seized by SDF
After clashes renewed in the vicinity of Al-Sinaa prison in al-Hasakah between the ISIS terrorists and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the latter has announced completely seizing the prison.
The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have announced today, Wednesday, completely seizing the al-Sinaa prison in the Syrian al-Hasakah Governorate.
Earlier today, more than 500 ISIS terrorists surrendered to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) after the Al-Sinaa prison break that took place last Thursday in Syria's al-Hasakah.
Close to 250 terrorists had barricaded themselves in a building following the prison break.
This morning, they surrendered to SDF forces who raided the building, raising the tally to 550. 300 ISIS terrorists had previously been captured on Monday.
ISIS began its attacks on Thursday when two car bombs exploded in front of the gates of Al-Sinaa prison for ISIS detainees, south of al-Hasakah.
On Tuesday, a delegation from the international coalition, including American and British forces entered Al-Sanaa prison to negotiate with the ISIS elements.
The deputy commander of the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria, Admiral Oleg Zhuravlev, announced last Friday that several terrorists escaped a prison in the city of al-Hasakah, which is under Kurdish control, as a result of an attack on it.
In a briefing, Zhuravlev pointed out that "US combat drones have been involved in the operation to liquidate the terrorists escaping from the prison."
The Admiral warned that "the use of airborne weapons will entail, with a high degree of probability, damage to city infrastructure facilities and civilian casualties."
