Algeria denies postponement of Arab Summit
Algerian FM Ramtane Lamamra's remarks come in response to reports which have been circulated on some Gulf websites claiming that the upcoming Arab summit might be postponed.
Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra confirmed that his country is ready to host Arab summit in November 2022.
Lamamra's remarks came in response to reports which have been circulated on some Gulf websites claiming that the upcoming Arab summit might be postponed.
The reports also claimed that some Arab countries are dissatisfied with Algeria's efforts in relation to Arab reunification.
This is not the first time that Lamamra denies such reports. On January 23, Lamamra said rumors that the 31st Arab Summit has been delayed are misleading.
It is worth mentioning that Al Mayadeen has obtained a document of the Algerian government's plan of action for the upcoming Arab summit, which it decided to consider as the Palestine Summit to heal the rift in the wall of joint Arab action.
The document stressed that Algeria will put effort to unite the Arab ranks, spread the spirit of joint action, and return Syria to the Arab League.
