The Algerian Ministry of National Defense announced that two Algerian Air Force planes transporting around 168 tons of humanitarian aid including food, medicine, medical equipment, and tents to Gaza have arrived at El-Arish Airport in Egypt.

In its statement, the ministry confirmed that these planes landed in Egypt this morning and are set to pass through Rafah into Gaza, adding that this move is in adherence to what the President of the Republic, who is also Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, has requested and in support and solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Algeria on Land Day

The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad put out a statement on March 30, in commemoration of Palestine Land Day, explaining that the Algerian people commemorate Land Day every year, saying that it highlights the Palestinians' attachment and sacrifice for the sake of their land.

It added that 48 years ago from March 30, 2024, the Palestinian people stood up against the brutal decision of Israeli occupation authorities to seize their land as part of its reckless expansionist policies through bullets and terrorism ever since it occupied Palestine martyring and injuring dozens of Palestinians.
