Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Gaza reported that 95 Palestinians have been martyred in Israeli air raids since dawn Wednesday, with the toll approaching 100 as strikes continue across different areas of the Gaza Strip.
At least 16 Palestinians were martyred when an Israeli strike hit al-Nujoom stadium, which shelters thousands of displaced people in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.
Medical sources at al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat confirmed the arrival of 11 martyrs, most of them dismembered bodies, along with 17 wounded, following the targeting of a civilian gathering outside the stadium's gate in the camp's marketplace area.
Our correspondent also reported that Israeli warplanes struck a displaced persons' tent on Abu Areef Street in Deir al-Balah, killing one person and wounding several others.
Meanwhile, nine people were injured and transferred to the al-Saraya field hospital after Israeli strikes on the Sabra and Tal al-Hawa neighborhoods, south of Gaza City.
Forced displacement in Gaza City intensifies
The Government Media Office in Gaza estimates that around 335,000 people were forced to flee from Gaza City under relentless bombardment, with more than 60,000 displaced in just the past three days. It further affirmed that more than 900,000 Palestinians remain steadfast in Gaza City.
In contrast, the teams also recorded reverse displacement, where more than 24,000 Palestinians have returned to their neighborhoods in Gaza City as of Tuesday. Many had initially transported furniture and belongings to the south for safekeeping, only to return because of the complete absence of the most basic necessities of life in the south.
The so-called "safe humanitarian zone" in the South has been subjected to more than 114 airstrikes and repeated bombardments. These massacres have left over 2,000 martyrs inside Mawasi itself. The zones designated by the occupation on its maps as "shelter areas" cover only about 12% of the Gaza Strip, yet it seeks to cram more than 1.7 million people into them.
Death toll
According to the latest figures from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the death toll has risen to 65,419 martyrs and 167,160 wounded since October 7, 2023. From March 18, 2025, until today, the toll stands at 12,823 martyrs and 54,944 wounded.
Over the past 24 hours, five martyrs and 20 injuries were recorded while seeking humanitarian aid, raising the total number of aid massacre victims who have arrived at hospitals to 2,531 martyrs and more than 18,531 wounded.
While deaths from malnutrition have risen to 440, including 147 children, underscoring the deepening humanitarian catastrophe.
