Almost Two-Thirds of Americans Against Biden Second Term
A recent poll revealed that more than two-thirds of Americans are against Biden running in the 2024 elections.
According to a USA Today - Suffolk University poll, nearly 64% of respondents said they do not want Joe Biden to run in the 2024 elections.
Biden's support tanked among the independent voters who allowed his margin of victory of former President Trump a year ago. Democrats, however, are set for a rebound after the House passed its infrastructure bill on Friday.
As for Kamala Harris, only 27.8% of respondents said they approve of the job she's done as vice president.
Nearly half of those surveyed (46%) said that Biden has done a worse job as president than they expected, including 16% of those who voted for him.
As for Democrats, 28% of them said they don't want Biden to run for a second term in 2024. Trump's numbers are somewhat better than Biden's, as opposition to him running for the 2024 is at 58%, against Biden's 64%.
Biden has overwhelming support by for the infrastructure bill the House passed on Friday, but Americans are split on the more expensive "Build Back Better" act being debated in Congress, as only 25% of people say the bill would help them and their families.
