He explained to Al Mayadeen that the dialogue held by FM Fouad Hussein with a media outlet that impersonated an institution took place without verifying its authenticity, confirming that the Iraqi Foreign Minister reiterated his rejection to normalization, both in the Manama Conference and in several interviews.

It is worth noting that the interview indeed was aired on an Israeli channel, but Minister Hussein confirmed that he was not aware that his interviewer was Israeli.

Al-Sahhaf also confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the Iraqi Foreign Minister had reiterated at the Manama Dialogue 2020, as is the case in all international forums, "the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the rejection of all forms of normalization with Israel."
